Scientific committee members of the 6th international conference on Urban Fire Service and Safety had a meeting with presence of Dr. Ghodratollah Mohammadi, CEO of Tehran Fire Department and member of conference scientific committee.

Dr. Ghodratollah Mohammadi (CEO), Dr. Kamran Abdevali (Deputy of Fire Protection and Prevention), Jalal Maleki (Deputy of Social and Cultural Affairs) and some prominent professors from Iranian top universities were present in this meeting. The members of scientific committee mainly emphasized on maximum interaction for improvement of scientific topics of this year conference.

Dr. Mohammadi, called this event as an important opportunity to exchange the experiences between fire departments and university professors. He continued: “Safety in the buildings with many different uses is a very important issue for all fire authorities. In this regard, we talked to insurance companies to reject insurance coverage for unsafe buildings. We hope this program will be done very soon so that the constructors and owner of the buildings had to consider all safety codes and regulations in the constructions process and maintenance. This year conference will be held from 1-3rd July 2024 at the Olympic Hotel in Tehran.
